Priority Sectors for Funding: There is no restriction. Any business idea is welcome

Range of services offered: EGG was created by Eurobank (www.eurobank.gr) and the Corallia Cluster Initiative (www.corallia.org). It began its operation in 2013. Within 12 months, EGG offers mentoring, design of a business plan and funding opportunities. Around 25-30 teams participate per year.
The Programme contains 3 phases:
1. “Enter”, which includes the application submission and the evaluation of the business ideas.
2. “Grow”, which includes the 12-month mentoring programme (Business bootcamp).
3. “Go”, which includes one extra year of work in the premises of EGG and funding either from Eurobank & “Action Finance Initiative (AFI)” or from the “EquiFund”. Several opportunities are also provided for winning money awards in competitions, based on their performance.
EGG offers fully equipped office space for the teams to work, as well as mentors for the whole year, contacts with investors and clients, funding and awards.
EGG aims at:
-Reinforcing youth entrepreneurship in Greece and abroad.
-Creating employment opportunities.
-Reducing the “brain drain” in Greece.
EGG is comprised by a Steering Committee that monitors the smooth operation of the accelerator, as well as an Advisory Committee, composed of distinguished scientists, entrepreneurs and experts. The initiative is also supported by top Greek and international businesses.
The accelerator has an extroversion programme, with educational and entrepreneurial missions in Europe, USA, Canada and the Middle East. B2B match-making with potential clients is also part of the programme.

Terms of funding: Necessary documents and requirements:
Each team submits an electronic application, which includes a business plan.

Nationality of participants:
All nationalities are welcome, with a prerequisite of having a living permit in Greece for as long as the mentoring programme lasts.

Education level of the team members:
Each team member should hold a University or Technical Institute Diploma (from Greece or abroad) or be a student in one of the aforementioned schools. The team can, however, cooperate with people not having a Diploma.
